What if I have never boxed before?

Our beginner boxing class is perfect for beginners with little to no experience. Classes usually consists of basic boxing technique, warm up, cardio, bag drills, pad work and run an hour long.

What if I don’t have boxing gloves?

We have all the equipment that you’ll need at the gym. Just make sure to bring gym clothes, gym/running shoes, a water bottle and a towel. Hand wraps are manditory for our boxing classes. If you don’t already have a pair, we sell new hand wraps at $15 and rent out used wraps for $5.

Where are you located?

Our address is 238 Keefer Street. We’re located on the south side of Keefer on the second floor of our building. Once you find the 238 door, walk up the stairs and the gym will be right there. You can’t miss it!

You’re a non-profit boxing gym? What’s that about?

It’s true, we’re a non-profit. Eastside Boxing Club has and extensive list of social programming. If you want to learn more check out our cause page.

Where is the best place to park my car?

We have city street parking just outside the gym, otherwise there are parking lots at the end of Keefer block and one at the end of Georgia.

Do you have women’s only classes?

Our Women’s Only Boxing classes run T and TH every week ranging from beginner to intermediate levels. There will be room to challenge yourself, while still being beginner friendly. This class is held in an empowering and supportive women’s only space.

Is your boxing gym LGBTQ friendly?

As a non-profit boxing gym, we keep in mind of being an inclusive space for all people regardless of their age, sexual orientation, gender, race, and socio-economic status. We hold a high standard among our staff to hold and encourage this kind of space.
